These ceremonial wood masks were completely hand carved and painted in the Guatemalan highlands by the Maya Indians.  They are rustic in appearance and though they have a somewhat 'aged' look, they are not antique, yet they may have been used in parades and ceremonies.  Each of these masks are one of a kind, the mask you see pictured is exactly what you will receive.
